I sometimes find myself thinking "I didn't really feel to much during this service, hopefully next time will be better". I end up having to stop and slap myself for thinking that. The problem is 99% of the time with me, because my mind and heart are somewhere else, not because of the content of the service. I, for whatever reason, was not allowing God to speak to me. Instead, I was hoping, like most consumers, to be flooded with the holy spirit, simply because I showed up. So true.
